Strange behavior during night hours

Post by THBR »

Hi,

My (first) blocky was to switch on a heater when I got home (via a Android geofence app) / setting at 18 degrees (temp sensor Aqara Zigbee) / between 07:00 - 23:30. This worked fine, however, the log of the heaterswitch (smart plug Broadlink SP3) showed that many (unwanted) switching moments only occurred during the night hours. See attached blocky

To rule out possible errors from the geofence app, temp sensor or the smartplug I rewrote the blocky (disconnected geofence app and replaced the smart switch with a virtual switch). See attached blocky.

Also now exactly the same behavior, see attached log.

What am I doing wrong / what is going wrong?

Thanks !

Gr. Theo (NL).

Your First if ist Always true wegen you are at Home.

(Geofence = on) and (Time between 07:00-00:00) or (Time between 00:00-23:00)

Try an and instead of or.

Thanks for responding !

It should indeed be "And".
But also turned out thats Domitcz works with Time before 23:59 and after 00:00, this caused the strange shifting behavior

So I made this blocky (see attachment), it works fine now and no more strange switching times during the night hours.

I am curious for your reaction.

Gr. Theo.
