Fibaro Heat Controller newer firmware
Anyone using these with push the button to add to z-wave network instead of the pin and having them show up in Domoticz as Unknown: id=010f Unknown: type=1301, id=1001+? I'm running the 2020.2 stable.
I already have one Heat Controller and that one was added and can be controlled without a hitch. Only difference is that the working one uses a pin to add it to the network, no button.
Is there a new firmware for these heat controllers that isn't compaitble with Domoticz or something?
If there's a way for domoticz to get the firmware version of the devices that would be great too, then I can check for differences between my two heat controllers.

Re: Fibaro Heat Controller newer firmware
same problem here.
stable release 2020.2 on an rpi and heat controller with an include button instead of a pin
Anyone with options to solve this?
Can anyone tell me what the latest firmware for the fgt-001 is?

Re: Fibaro Heat Controller newer firmware
I recently contacted a company that was willing to check the version and upgrade the heat controller for me and they just got back to me.
The latest version right now is 4.7, the controller I bought was sold with this version and it's apparent now that Domoticz does NOT support the 4.7 firmware.
The other controller I have is running 4.5 and that seems to be running fine with domoticz. I'm glad i didn't update that one...
As far as I know, there is no way to downgrade the firmware on these fibaro modules, is there?

Re: Fibaro Heat Controller newer firmware
I've decided to try using the Beta domoticz to see if the 4,7 firmware is supported.
I'm sad to say it doesn't. Only thing it fixes is that the name is properly displayed in the hardware list. No devices are added.

It seems like they added 4.7 support now 20 days ago

I'm gonna get myself another Heat controller and give it a try with this new xml. I'll let you guys know if it works or not.

Re: Fibaro Heat Controller newer firmware
I recieved my new controller today and started testing and I bring good news for anyone that is trying to get the newer 4.7 firmware included in domoticz.
Just follow these steps and you'll be up in running in no time!
1. Login to your domoticz using WinSCP or Putty whichever you find easier to edit files in
2. Go to your domoticz folder and then to the Config folder for Fibaro, in my case it was /home/<username>/domoticz/Config/fibaro
3. Make a backup of the fgt001.xml file just in case things go south
4. Make a new fgt001.xml file and copy the contents of https://github.com/OpenZWave/open-zwave ... fgt001.xml of the code section into it.
5. Go one directory back (/home/<username>/domoticz/Config)
6. Make a backup of the manufacturer_specific.xml file just in case
7. Open de manufacturer_specific.xml file with your favorite editor
8. Find the following line:
and add the following just below it
9. Reboot your Domoticz server and then include your heat controller, exclude it first if it was included in a previous failed attempt.
As far as I can tell, it works just like the 4.5 firmware version I already have. So i'm happy with this

Re: Fibaro Heat Controller newer firmware
Is there also already an update for the newer 4.9 firmware?
When I try to add the Fibaro heat controller to Domoticz I'm not able to control anything...
The devices appears as follows:
The hardware appears as follows:
So no setpoints are appearing as stated in: https://www.hellosmarthome.nl/post/revi ... /domoticz/
Is there anyone who can help me with this issue, or is the newest firmware version of the FGT-001 simply not compatible with Domoticz?

Re: Fibaro Heat Controller newer firmware
I'm indeed using the latest Domoticz Beta version.
And I'm not using zwavejs-ui (yet
).
Can the zwavejs-ui solve my issue?
