I always thought this was impossible but today I found out some devices are reacting when they should not.
I got two Fibaro Home Center 3 Hubs. Both have their own Z-Wave mesh.
I set an association from a Z-Wave wall remote to a Z-Wave wall plug. This works as expected except for one thing.. a different wall plug in the house, one that is part of a completely different Z-Wave network and hub also reacts to the remote. I never set this association.
I added a Fibaro Dimmer 2 to the second hub. When I turned it on using the Hub, another random Z-Wave device in the house turn on.
How is this possible? I thought Z-Wave devices had their own unique ID, even across different meshes. Is that not the case? Anyone else experienced something similar?
Z-Wave Devices in other networks can mess with each other
