Sensor for luminous intensity (lux)

At this moment my Domoticz is switching lights on and off depending on sunset and sunrise, but of course the light is also dependent on the weather (if it's cloudy or sunny makes a big difference). That's why I prefer to switch the lights dependent on the luminous intensity (lux value). I know that previously there was a solution based on Weather Underground, but that's not available anymore. I use OpenWeatherMap, which doesn't have a sensor for luminous intensity. Does anyone has a good alternative solution to retrieve the lux value for a specific location?

I’m using (for years now) for that purpose a Fibaro pir with a build in Lux sensor. Because there is to much light in the summer I’m using a piece of copy/printing paper as a filter. In combination with a blockly you can achieve exactly what you want.
The pir is looking outside at the attic to the sun.

I use a WeMos D1 mini with ESPEasy and a BH1750 sensor
total cost < 5 EURO

Yes, thanks. I understand that one can install a private sensor. I was wondering if there is a public sensor (like Weather Underground had before), based on location (latitude, longitude).

I changed from a nearby (<500m) weather station to ‘Fibaro lux’ because the different brightness conditions on a distance of 500 meters. It was not secure enough.

Ok, that makes sense; thanks for the update
