Logging screen erase button

It can be me but really often I click on the red cross next to the logging filter screen with the intention to remove the typed in filter. But after that I remember again that this red cross was to clear the complete log and not the filter field.

Maybe add two buttons, one for clearing the log and one for clearing the filter?

Happens to me all the time. Maybe an added button 'clear log' to, well, clear the logs
