"Power usage to high" Error logged by P1 and Enphase hardware

I get the below error listed in my Domoticz log several times since I had my kitchen redone. A quooker, microwave, oven plus an induction cooker where installed. Naturally sufficient new groups were added. Since this time however I see these error messages logged in Domoticz. I wasn't aware that there was such a setting. Can someone please show me where to reconfigre this 'Max Usage" setting?
The erorr is even logged twice. Once by the P1 meter hardware, plus another time by the Enphase hardware (solar panel Envoy-S metered installed for metering). I would like to get rid of these error messages, as they are not an error at all. My net connection is rated for at least 8KW.

Found it... It's in the settings for Domoticz under Meters/Tellers, labeled "Max Power".

Thanks waaren. Even after reading gizmocuz' writings I don't understand the logic of this feature. I have an induction cooker that on it's own can use over 4KW (the standard for these devices is to install them behind 2 16 Amp breakers). Run that cooker in combination with a dishwasher, quooker, microwave and oven, and 8KW can be reached occasionally. When I upgraded my kitchen I was worried about these numbers too, but the electrician from Stedin told me not to worry, it would work. And so far it does indeed. We have even accidently run the washing machine and dryer at overlapping times and it didn't cause a black-out yet.
Also the 16 solar panels on my roof generate well over 6KW on a sunny summer day. Again, this is much more than this 4KW limit. This check of 4KW is ridiculously low. Especially given that our government is pushing everyone away from natural gas, towards electric cooking, so this is going to happen in more and more households. Better find and fix the cause of those random incorrect values instead of dismissing perfectly valid values...

Fully agree if the prevention of these incorrect values could be done from within domoticz which is not the case in the issues created by other members of this forum. In latest Beta's a value of 6000 was chosen as an an initial value (first it was set at 4000) but this value can be adjusted to a much higher (or lower) value if that is what your household requires.

I have those random values too occasionally. Not just for electric power devices though, all devices seem to have these glitches. To me the values don't seem really random though: they look more like sign problems, negative values in an unsigned variable or other variations. It should be possible to find their cause, isn't it? This max power setting is only a work around for a small number of the issues, it doesn't fix anything and it's confusing to the users.

Faced the same errors today. Thanks to your posting, I could find it quickly how to changes this level.
I second your opinion it is a work around to avoid some problems, does not fix anything.

My Slovakian is a bit rusty

, I think you'll get a bigger audience if you post your question in English. Lucky for you we've got google translate and I was curious what you wrote ... This check was added in recent betas only. So if you get the error message you'll for sure also have the setting.

Thank you helped until restart domoticz.
I don't know if the problem has already been solved, it doesn't show performance values but the subscription there is is graphing.
If I'm on the wrong topic please relocate.

Hi,
I am also seeing this messages in log in recent beta's

In settings i have set Max Power: 8100 as this reflects my mains fuse 35A at 230V.
I will perform some further testing today, washing & drying & cooking & heating together.
In my opinion :
The prober setting for max power in settings should be related to mains voltage and main fuse value.
Not a random max value. In NL we have 230v +-10% and 1X25A 1x35A to 3x25A 3X35A or higher for business. (see
https://www.mijnaansluiting.nl/bepalen- ... capaciteit) .So this is how domoticz should be configured ....
This has to be the user input somehow.
I am afraid my scripts that smart messages via Google speaker that alert on high power are effectively killed as it never can reach the real trigger values. I am under the impression not only Watt is dropped but also the ampere value is skipped. ( based on a quick test this morning)
The false spikes in power consumption i have seen in the past where always related to my solar panels, suddenly getting or loosing the sun = power in combination with high electricity use (current). But i have seen some strange reports of different situations from other users.

I have set 8100 , but today still got the message in the log ....
Today with testing, again. Will update this evening to latest build and try again as soon as i have high currents running from the grid.
This is depending on use but also on the amount of sun....

Thanks experienced the same issue with Solaredge so was looking for a solution and digging through API code.
