Domoticz sensor value read with python

Hello!
I am trying to read out the value that an Thermostat setpoint sensor that just gives(the one that allows you to adjust it on domoticz so you can remotely control it) out values like 13 degrees or 13,5 degrees. I am trying to read it out with python 3.7.3 however im having some issues getting the value from domoticz that is hosted on the same pi to the python program as an variable. Can anyone possibly help me with how to read out the value? I tried googling tutorials but im having some bad luck understanding them. I can currently send to the webserver but not read out whats currently there.
