Grumpy Aoen Zwave stick on Asustor NAS

Since November last year I have the AEON LABS USB Z-WAVE PLUS CONTROLLER BATTERY Z-STICK, and it works fine on my Rasp-Pi 3+ together with Domoticz. I recently started running Domoticz on my NAS. An Asustor AS3102T basically works fine .... with the exception of the Z-wave USB.

The NAS recognizes it (it picks up something like a seriera or ID #). But the stick keeps flashing blue, yellow and red. Something I do not recognize from my "Raspb pi" period.
I can also am not able to find the Z Wave stick in the Hardware list of connected devices or any where else.
According to the compatible list it should work for Domoticz and also on my NAS Asustor by the way.

I have already gone through the various forums but have not came across anyone with similar problems nor solutions.
