Tellstick Duo with Domoticz - two-way communication?

I´m finally switching from 433 MHz (Telldus/Nexa) to Z-wave with Domoticz. The installation went very smooth and I´m impressed by Domoticz so far!

I've been browsing the Internet to understand if it's possible to keep a few 433 Mhz sensors and switches by connecting the Tellstick Duo I already have. It seems to be tricky according to a number of different posts and I understand that it only will work for transmitting signals, not receiving signals from sensors. But the posts are quite old, and I still hope that someone at this forum has succeeded to use Tellstick Duo for two-way communication.

If Tellstick Duo doesn´t work, what´s the simplest (and cheapest) HW for two-way communication with my legacy 433 MHz units?
