Some Z-wave device not functioning after reboot

Post by ronh123 »

I'm running the latest Domoticz version on the latest Buster Lite on a Reaspberry Pi 3B. RFXcom, smart meter en Aeotec gen5 stick attached.
I'm rebooting weekly in the night (Sunday 03:00), via Crontab, Sudo service domoticz stop and 1 minute after Sudo repoot. I did add a delay in the startup of Domoticz, but Domoticz startup fails frequently and need to be restarted in the morning. Sudo service Domoticz stop and start. But then I have issues with some Z-wave switches and sensors ( Fibaro 2x1,5kw double relay and a double wall switch from Neo Coolcam and a Neo coolcam door sensor ) All others are functioning. I can add them easily to the same ID via the manual include buttons, but I do not understand why this is happening. I did refresh the entire software (Buster and Domoticz ). Restored a backup of the Z-wave stick but with the same result. When I just stop and start the Domoticz service via Putty, I do not have these issues. Could it be a power or timing issue?? Thanks for suggestions I can try.

I did withdraw the failing devices from the Mesh network and replaced them by Fibaro power plugs, door sensors and double relay switch. So spend some money trying to solve this strange issue. First reboots went well. Entire network and all devices are available and Domoticz does start with the delay from 20 seconds still active. After this Sunday, when succesfull, I will delete the 20 seconds delay and run Domoticz as designed for the PI. Hope to have it solved by replacing 'strange functioning' Z-wave devices.
