Problem with cheap sockets (action) after firmware flash

Post by jellex87 »

Hello,

I updated my RFXCOM433E to Firmware Pro1.
My Brel blinds kept working, but my lights don't work anymore. I have them connected with the cheap Action sockets which were working perfectly before the updat/ firmware flash.
Before I damage more, what is step 1 in setup that I have to check?

Hi,

@jellex87

You don't tell which brand you have bought at "Action".

Did you look into the "User Guide" of the RFXCom?
You will find, that devices of brand Eurodomest and Impuls, both sold by Action, are not supported by Pro1 (or Pro2) version.

If you have these devices, you have to go back to the latest Ext1 version.

Ok, thanks. I think that is the problem. I have the Impuls ones... any reason that they threw them out?

@jellex87

I have no idea, why they stopped support for those devices.
Perhaps @b_weijenberg can answer that question.

I found out the KAKU APC3 2300r were in sale and bought them today. Better quality and looks a lot nicer because they are small. Will connect them later. And supports Transmitting and Receiving.
Thanks for your replies!
