problems with SMAspot

Post by Blauw23 »

I have a problem with the import of the data from a SMA inverter.
A had a pi with SBFspot for uploading the data to PVoutput.
The pi died during a power dip.
Now I have a new Pi, and also a P1 connector.
So I would like to install SBFspot and domoticz
First I installed Domoticz, then I installed SBFspot.
In SBFspot I gave my plant a name (which I touched I used before)
Then I seen in the memorycard that I had the wrong plant name, so I changed the pland name in the sbfspot.cfg file
(location /usr/local/bin/sbfspot.3)
But now the system creates the files new plant name-Spot-Date.csv, but domoticz want the following files
old plantname-Spot-Date.Csv.
If I change the plant name in the cgf file it works, because then the old plant name is used for the files.
Where can I change the plantname in domoticz, not in sbfspot

Hi Blauw23,

I'm not sure if you meant this but I think you can alter the name on the Domoticz Hardware page. (Instellingen,Hardware) Select the type SBFSpot (SMA) and alter the name in the screen below, finish by clicking the button Aanpassen.
In my case this name matches the Plantname= what is in the SBFspot.cfg file behind the Locatie field.

If i understand you correct, my answer would be:
you need to disable and re-enable the hardware in Domoticz for it to read in the config file again. Otherwise it doesn't now you changed anything in it.
