Temperature controlled relay

Post by FredZ »

Hello All

Brand new to Domoticz and Blockly, so I hope I'm not asking some lame questions.

Firstly my setup:
Version: 2020.2
Build Hash: b63341bc0
Compile Date: 2020-04-26 23:47:55
dzVents Version: 3.0.2
Python Version: None

Hardware: Pi 3 b+
Raspbian 10 (buster)
Direct connected sensors and relay board.
Sensors: DS18B20, Sainsmart 16 relay module, water level sensors.

Application: My daughter and I grow Bhut jolokia chillis. Currently in soil, but I want to grow them in a hydro. I curently grow fancy letuce in an NTF system. But these chillis apparently grow best in a flood drain system.

My issues:
1. Temperature controlled relay not working.
2. Don't know how to setup pump with flood sensor.

Here is the temp controlled relay event I have created. This event does not work

Here is pump with flood sensor event I have so far. But I don't know how to turn the pump on untill the water hit the flood sensor and then turn off.
The idea is that the pump turns on at pre defined times every day. The pump runs untill the water reaches the flood sensor in the tub and then the pump turns off allowing the water to drain back into the reservior untill the nest time is reached.

Oh, and I'm doing it in Blockly because I don't know anything about the other scripting languages.

I do have several other events that do work.

Yes the temp sensor is working and is creating a graph.

Your comments would be most helpful.

Many thanks in advance.

have you tried 22 in stead of 21.9 degrees. i dont think blockly understands the dot.
Give it a try.
