How to ad the byron doorbell?
I have the byron protocol on and also ac arc x10 ligtning4 , but its not regonized by Domoticz
How to add it?

In order to get some advice's and/or support, I think you should submit more information.
Which Domoticz version?
Which software version in your RFXCom device (which device)?
Does you RFXCom device recognize your Doorbell?

Which type of Doorbell. Byron produces more than 1 type, and you can not expect that forum members are sorting that out, based on a picture of the push button. So,there exist no "the byron doorbell".

Hi,

From the RFXCom RFXtrx User guide, I found that the Byron BY chime is supported by software version Pro1 and ProXL1
If there are differences between BY chime and DBY chime, I don't know, but you can try it.

The Pro1 firmware is only available for RFXtrx433E (version 1043) For the ProXL1, you need the RFXtrx433XL.
For hardware RFXtrx433, the latest software is Type 1 (1025)

However, you mentioned that you use Ext2/1025 firmware. this is according to: http://www.rfxcom.com/epages/78165469.s ... /Downloads not available for RFXtrx433. but it is available for RFXtrx433E.

If it happens, that you have a RFXtrx433E, instead of RFXtrx433, you are lucky and you should upgrade to Pro1 (1043)
If not, you have to upgrade, your RFXCom device.

Do i now have to do a auto detect or do i have to fill in something manually ?

I suppose, that it is sufficient to tick the box "Accept new Hardware Devices", or push "Allow for 5 Minutes" in the Setup > System tab.
If you have the correct protocols ticked in "Set Mode" of the RFXtrx433E device, I expect that if you press the push-button, the device is automatically detected.

I suggest that you contact the helpdesk of RFXCom and ask if your specific brand/model is supported. If it is, they can tell you also the settings.
