Dashticz roadmap

Post by Lokonli »

June 2020: Dashticz 3.5
  • New stable version derived from 3.4.9.1 beta
September 2020: Dashticz 3.6
  • Preparation new authentication method Domoticz
Since Domoticz plans to remove basic-auth we have to find an alternative way for authentication. Whitelisting is a fallback for local usage.
For remote usage probably it's more convenient to leverage on the Domoticz authentication method, meaning we will use the Domoticz server for Dashticz as well.
  • Adding support for cold white/warm white dimmers
  • Custom.js callbacks for special blocks like 'longfonds'
  • Improve consistency and customization of value formatting of Domoticz devices (thousand separator, decimals separator, # of decimals, unit)
December 2020: Dashticz 3.7
  • Selection of feature requests in this subforum, and from Github.
Additional ideas or requests are always welcome: you can post them here in this subforum.

I want to learn! :D

The roadmap looks exciting. Great idea posting this. I agree about moving away from basic auth. So, Dashticz sit on Domoticz' webserver? That will make things simpler and even allowing us to securely access Dashticz remotely ;)
