How to connect cheap sockets

Post by mirodin »

Hey guys,

I got some cheap 433 MHz sockets during a yard sale but they came without a remote. Today I tried to set them up with Domoticz but I have no idea which Type of switch I got. When I open their backpanel I can set a code by flipping ten switches either on or off. However scrolling through Domitcz' "Add manual switch device" I see a bunch of different layouts but none of them consists of ten on/off states.

Does anybody know how I might be able to get their correct protocol without me trying every possible combination?

Thanks in advance, have a good one!

domoticz does not do 433 mhz ootb.
you will need rfxcom or rflink for that.
once rfxcom/rflink recognizes the socket, domoticz setup is trivial.

Sorry I forgot to mention I have a RFXCom plugged in. I got in contact with the person I got those sockets from and he happens to use Domoticz as well so he helped me figure out RFXCom manual on how to configure the Domoticz switches :)
