Hello!
I recently created a script which parses different air quality measures:
- Particulate Matter PM2.5 (µg/m3)
- Particulate Matter PM10 (µg/m3)
- O3 Ozone (ppb)
- SO2 Sulfur Dioxide (ppb)
- CO Carbon Monoxide (ppb)
- NO2 Nitrogen Dioxide (ppb)
For the 2 first, I created a custom sensors and defined my own scale in µg/m3.
For the others, I used the Domoticz' Air Quality sensor.
Everything is working quite fine, but I am not satisfied with the Air Quality Sensors for 2 reasons:
1. The Subtype is Voltcraft CO-20, for CO2, which gives an "Excellent" to "Low" rating based on the wrong scale.
2. The unit is ppm (parts per million) while my measurements are in ppb (parts per billion) which forces me to divide my measurements by 1000.
I therefore have multiple questions to optimise my installation:
1. How can I change the unit of the Air Quality sensor ?
2. Are there any other Air Quality sensors SubTypes? If yes, how can I modify them?
3. Is it possible to create my own scale to give "Excellent", "Good", "Moderate", "Low" grades depending on the sensor value? If yes, how can I do this?
4. The API I am using provides forecasts. How can I make use of this and display a forecast like for the Weather sensors?
Thanks for you help. Feel free to ask me any additional information.
