Lua script is never executed

Post by IJsbeerUitHoogkerk »

It seems Domoticz doesn't want to execute my Lua scripts.
I've been working on it for at least an hour, and I can't seem to pinpoint the problem.

I expect a log entry saying my script has been executed when some devices state changes. But this doesn't seem to happen like it does for Blocky.

Everything should be enabled.

You can see how it logs the "OnHome" script (which is a Blocky). However, after I disable that and enable the Lua script in the screenshot above, nothing appears.

The wiki is quite thorough (it contains a lot of text), but it seems I cannot find my answer there.

Does anyone know what might be the issue? Every tip is appreciated!

Also, "Write to log" blocks in Blocky don't show up in the logs. Maybe that is related?

I'm running Domoticz 4.97 on OpenWRT.

What do you log (set in /etc/init.d/domoticz.sh)
If you look at the log in the GUI are you looking at "All"
Debian buster, bullseye on RPI-4, Intel NUC.
