Zigate and Xiaomi light sensor

Hi Pipiche,

I bought a few Xiaomi light sensors (http://s.aliexpress.com/MJNfMFbI) and successfully added it to domoticz using the latest stable version of the plugin and firmware 3.1a. But I don't get any value updates, lux stays on 0.

Do you know if there are still some issues with this sensor?
The sensor is pretty new and I noticed it is one of the newest sensors added to the zigate plugin. Maybe I should switch to beta for this sensor.

Any advice would be very welcome.

Thanks Ronald

It is a bit hard to answer.
Could you provide and export of the "Plugin Devices raw (json)" that you can find on the Web Admin Page ?

We have recently added a Lumi Lux sensor on the beta branche, but I need to check if that is the same

Please do update to the laresr version of the plugin (just posted now ;-)

Then
1- restart the plugin
2- Remove the Widget created for this device
3- Redo the pairing

The fix was available on beta. I just push it towards stable

Hi Pipiche,

The sensor works perfect and very fast, really like them.
But I noticed that I don't receive the battery state, is this still work in progress? Hopefully I don't need to know the battery state for some time, but they send a lot of updates so I don't expect the battery to last a year. (Hopefully I'm wrong and that would make them absolutely perfect)

Thanks for your good work.

Hi Pipiche,

Now that I've switched to beta I can confirm that the beta als doesn't report battery status.
Hope it is on your todo list ;)

Regards Ronald

It is not on my todo as it works fine on my end. Could you clarify what version of Domoticz you are using ?

I use 2020.2 stable. I did create the widget using the stable plugin. Should I try to remove the widget and rebind?

Also the plugin doesn't show the battery percentage and the sensors are in the network for 2 weeks now.

Great, it works. First one has a reported battery percentage, I'm sure the other two will follow.

Thanks again.
