ZiGate Receiving NACK on all bulbs and power switches
Hi, I upgraded from Plugin version: 4.7.001 to Plugin version: 4.7.005.
I already had some NACK messages after upgrading firmware to 3.1c and Plugin version: 4.7.001 but now none of my bulbs or powered switches is reacting on ZiGate. They all log Receive NACK from ..device.. Also power switching them off and on again does not help. It helped during my first NACK messages.
I have in total 22 devices (added 2 battery today...) so should be in the safe zone here.
I only see the battery powered sensors, none of the switches or bulbs.
What could this be?
I already saw this topic https://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopi ... 68&t=31367 but that was more related to firmware updates.
I did nothing other than adding 2 battery devices and updated and restarted plugin.I also restart the complete device (computer and Zigate) with power down. but still no luck.

Re: ZiGate Receiving NACK on all bulbs and power switches
After re-pair the devices with ZiGate they are working now, at least the switches and the Led driver. The other bulbs I have tried to re pair but after a few minutes the NACK came back

Re: ZiGate Receiving NACK on all bulbs and power switches
After some further repairing and bringing the Ikea bulbs closer to the ZiGate it is working now. Now to setup the group again with the Ikea Remote.
Still wondering what has happened here because it took me a couple of hours to setup everything again.

Re: ZiGate Receiving NACK on all bulbs and power switches
And now I have added 3 bulbs to the group (by pairing them to the ikea remote) and all 3 give NACK!

Re: ZiGate Receiving NACK on all bulbs and power switches
NACK is the due to no communication between the Zigate and the device. In other words, the device is not on the network anymore.
Reasons could be:
- The device has been powered off
- The device is too far and the link quality is not good
- The network is getting interferences or is poor
- Check the Wifi 2.4 versus the Zigate Channel ( https://github.com/pipiche38/Domoticz-Z ... -Zigbee.md )
--> Be aware that if you plan to change the Zigate channel, you will have to redo the pairing.
- Increase the number of routers (usally main powered devices) in order to increase the density and get a good mesh network.

Re: ZiGate Receiving NACK on all bulbs and power switches
I will try again but it is very stranga that after I paired the Ikea bulbs to the Ikea remote they stopped working with ZiGate (giving NACK).
They are on some distance 7-8 meters but in between is a router.
I can put the Ikea Remote next to the ZiGate and the bulbs are still reacting, so it does not look like a zigbee network issue. It looks more like the ZiGate for some reason does not want to talk with them (or the other way around). But I suspect the ZiGate being part of the 031(a,b,c) firmware. Perhaps something wrong in the NACK implementation.

If this happens when you paired the remote, this makes sense.
You need to make sure the remote is correctly paired to zigate first.

Re: ZiGate Receiving NACK on all bulbs and power switches
Well, after also resetting the Ikea Remote and doing the group pair dance again they all work fine now. Fingers crossed.
Well the lasts NACK's are explainable, but why suddenly all my powered devices were lost in the beginning? Could have been the ZiGate changed channel due to interferences?

Re: ZiGate Receiving NACK on all bulbs and power switches
What I see now is that ZiGate is stopping sometimes accepting new hardware (blue led always on, little bit flashing). If then a existing device wants to enter the network again it will not be accepted (no response in log). If I Disable/Enable the pairing process with ZiGate it will again accept reentries of existing devices.

And again today a NACK on one of my Bulbs, I had to switch it off and on again to have it working again.

Re: ZiGate Receiving NACK on all bulbs and power switches
Moved one AP from channel 2 to 1, see what happens. The other 2 bulbs of the same group I also lost this evening. They all switched off as group on 22.30 as programmed but when switching them on again manualy a half hour later only the bulb I repaired earlier this evening reacted. The other 2 NACK-ed again and I had to power switch them off and on again te reconnect.

Re: ZiGate Receiving NACK on all bulbs and power switches
The only real thing I saw here was the switching of of the Hub (ZiGate?) for 20 minutes in order to force the Zigbee network to optimize the mesh.pipiche wrote: ↑Monday 24 February 2020 22:42 You might want to read that one : https://community.hubitat.com/t/xiaomi- ... nected/623

Re: ZiGate Receiving NACK on all bulbs and power switches
Just for the record. Another bulb 2 mtr from the Zigate apperantly went NACK as it did not switch off as programmed. This morning I had to power cycle it to have it reenter again.

Re: ZiGate Receiving NACK on all bulbs and power switches
Hi Walter,
I'm still experiencing the same issues as you do. First I had more as 40 devices on my network, so I ordered an extra Zigate. I made sure there is least possible interference with WiFi, I even disabled 2.4 GHz for a day with no noticable effect. Wifi scan with my Unifi AP's shows clean WiFi channels with -96dBm interference on all channels, what's very low in my opinion. I now have 2 zigbee networks, on channel 11 and 25 with WiFi on channel 6 in between to have the least possible interference. The network on channel 11 will be setup as new network on channel 26 and then the Wifi channel is going to move to channel 1. But first i want to be sure on what firmware i'll set the Zigate.
Every day I'll lose some device (sometimes close to the zigate, even at 3 meters distance) and have to power-cycle them to resume it to work. When i had the issue at first, powercycling didn't work, but at that time I had 48 devices on my Zigate. My energy scans show for the Tradfri devices strenghts between 165 and 199. My Hue bulbs show a lot lower in comparision to the Tradfri's, they always had even when very close to the Zigate but never have any communication failure before.
On firmware 3.1a I never had this symptom and didn't change Wifi settings when upgrading to 3.1c. I hope that more people who are experiencing this will share this to the community.
I know ronaldbro, also active on this forum and experiencing same problems, is mailing with the producer of the Zigate to have his PiZigate fully reset and downgraded to 3.1a. I'm curious if that will solve this problem at his site. At the moment i'll wait for his results before downgrading to 3.1a, meanwhile powercycling everyday some device
