Hi,

I`m looking for some new smoke detectors for my home automation system. I`m using a raspberry pi with domoticz on it. On the raspbarry i`ve add a rfxcom module. I`m already switching some lights with that so its working fine. Now i sow on the internet the kaku smoke detector ZSDR-850 but couldn`t find any information if it`s compatible witch domoticz and rfxcom. It`s working with a Zigbee protocol but i dont know if I can use it with the setup i have.

Does someone know if it`s compatible and how i can add it to domoticz?

ZSDR-850 is a ZigBee device so you will need a bridge to connect it to Domoticz. It will not work with the 433RFXcom.

The smoke sensor itself is an exact copy of the Heiman HS1SA which works with the Conbee II stick (depending on the version of the Heiman sensor you buy ;)). The Heiman sensor is available for a mere € 25,- or such.

If you want a sensor that connects with 433RFXCom you might want to look at the FA21RF (of which I happen to have a few on sale ;))
