Zigate backup?

Hi!

i have a zigate usb version on my raspberry pi, i have read that there is a way to make a backup of the zigate in a windows computer,

but where is the paired zigbee devices stored? is it in domoticz or the zigbee stick?

the backup in windows seemed a bit tricky, it seemed that i need to do it in the windows dos promt, or is there a easier way?

In Domoticz you have all related widgets which are stored.

In the Zigate plugin (under Data/DeviceList-xx.txt ) you have all devices related informations

On the Zigate firmware PDM you have all Zigate paired devices information

What I would recommend to do is
- make a propre backup of domoticz and plugin environment

In case you scrach the Zigate hardware, you'll have simply to repair the devices, but you won't loose anythink else. Automatically the plugin will reconnect the devices

i usually do backups of the sd card itself, so i always have a fresh backup, so you mean that everything is stored in the sd card, so if the zigate device breaks down and i have to get a new one everything will work emediately?

What I said, is that you'll have to re-pair each devices, but all your configuration, history will remain.

i have installed the NXP software on my windows10 computer and i have tried to do a backup of the zigate, but with no success, the plan was to back it up since i have another zigate and have that one as a backup in case the main zigate goes corrupted.

i have followed the guide on the zigate site, i use powershell and i go to the directory where nxp is installed, but i cant the software to make a backup.

or is there any other software that i can use to make a backup?

I thought that i might do an update,

today i managed to make an backup of the zigate, the problem before was that i had the zigate site translated to swedish, that changed some of the copy/paste line, so that was why it didnt work.
