First check the extensive list of supported devices for RFLinkGateway

Yeah I've done that. But looking online I can't seem to find where any of them are available. I did like the acurite 5 in 1 a couple of years ago but I'm struggling to find them available

The survey might be lagging rel. to the actual development/configuration.
Therefore, reversely, ask the Stuntteam of RFLink whether they have an interface for the weather station which is interesting to you:
see also section Development under this URL.

My hopes are on this https://github.com/merbanan/rtl_433

is there anything like this for wifi that works with domoticz?
would love to have a weatherstation but do not want to buy an rflink just for that.

RTL-SDR costs only $21.95 USD if you want to try it. https://www.rtl-sdr.com/buy-rtl-sdr-dvb-t-dongles/

With RTL-433 It can decode many signals like car tyre pressure and temperatures.

I have RFLink, RTL-SDR, Z-Wave stick and Zigate. RFLink is not worst one even the latest firmware is over two years old. Zigate and Zigbee is by far the most rubbish one. Even the hardware tends to break and website is only in French. What's that about? If one wants to control only lights Philips Hue hub, 38 €, is less expensive than Zigate, 49 €.

The device in was looking at was on the supported list.

Quite literally for any of the weather stations or multi sensor 5 in 1
I cannot find any product that is available on Australia

I didn't really want to start a debate or anything or look at different technologies... Was just hoping that someone who uses the same technology as I was using had recently purchased or investigated purchasing one that could point me in the right direction

@mpx2

My reference to http://www.rflink.nl/blog2/ was more aimed at another, earlier section:
Regarding support questions:
- If you have a device that is not on the supported device list and is also not working, make debug logs and mail that to us.
Unfortunately the implication is, that you already should buy/have both the RFLink and the PWS, running the risk that the combination will never work if the Stuntteam does not produce a driver in a next release of the firmware.

If RFLInk is not filling the gap by wireless interface, perhaps the configuration with TE923-interface is suitable for Domoticz-interfacing of a PWS:
using an USB-interface between the Domoticz-processor and a counterpart in the PWS (usually a console).
Another USB-interface for Domoticz&Meteo also available for Davis Vantage PWS.
