Anybody done something on this or know a link with more info?
The dutch "Toon" ( smart home interface in the netherlands ) is capable of recognizing the fingerprint of serveral machines in your house.
It can detect a washingmachine refridgerator and several others.
I have done some experiments ( logging all entries of my P1 into an excel sheet ) but have not been able to see any fingerprints of devices.
Would be so nice if ( without a seperate aditional device ) we could monitor power consumption of common devices.
Any thoughts idea's ?
Cheers,
Frank

Re: P1 interface get fingerprint for devices
Hi,
Interessing question!
I have see also that my energy supplier give me that kind of info from the P1 data, so there must be extract some info from the raw info.
I can imagine that it's combination of preset info an some Ai..??
For example the fridge is always (Especially at night) an time frequent repeating power.

Re: P1 interface get fingerprint for devices
When we were on vacation last summer it was real easy to find the refridgirator
But then , being home again and so many devices connected and going on and off its a jungle.
Would you be interested to run a test script as well and record all events? See if we recognize anything in your environment?
I have not been able to find any google result on this...

Re: P1 interface get fingerprint for devices
Hi,
That was for indeed the simplest one next to the standby power.
I think that the dishwasher, washingmachine is also easy to filter from the P1 data.
I will put my data also in an sheet to check if I can combine the info from my supplier next to data maybe I can find some interesting info.
