Hello, the days become shorter and the solar powered Popp Z-Weather is sliding into a problem if there was not enough sun. Domoticz start to protest at night times soon it will on days.
The device is powered by a tiny solar cell on the side, would say without enough milliamps to provide more power over night. Would like to optimize the device with a bigger solar cell and the gold cap or battery. Are more users of this device here?
Update: Bought a 6V / 1W solar cell nearby 4 times of size for 10€. The original solar cell can be cut off from the sides, avoid the middle where the cables are soldered. Solder the new cell and apply with some double sided tape. Result: Every 10 minutes data reports at day and once an hour at night. There are no failed reports at the moment in Domoticz.

Re: Popp Z-Weather energy
Thanks a lot for the tip. Would it be possible to have some photos of your solution ?
