Aeotec Smart Switch: set colour based on condition/usage

I have a few of the Aeotec Smart Switches, which have an LED frame around the socket that
wither shows on/off (load based) or such
That LED can be RGBW switched to any colour (and on/off) my Zwave command

Has anyone done anything to update the LED with maybe different colours based on
a) kwh drawn
b) time on/off

is it possible to blink them efficiently (w/o having to send on/off constantly)?
