Shutdown,check alive (PING) and WOL.

Hello, I need some feature ATM and not sure they are already existing.
I have see the WOL hardware but I need too a Shutdown feature and a ping feature to check if a computer is connected or not on my network.

Will be easy to make but I want to be sure there isn't already a script for that.

It seem the command line can turn off a distant computer but not put it on sleeping mode (hibernation).

For ping feature, I have found the hardwave (native) "Systeme alive checker"
