updating the Zigate firmware

I found the firmware updates here:
https://github.com/fairecasoimeme/ZiGate/releases

and a tool here for Windows users to apply the updates:
https://github.com/fairecasoimeme/ZiGat ... rammer.zip

Can you please provide some more details:

- can the update be applied through the USB stick, or is it necessary to remove the radio module from the USB stick and put it into some dedicated programming device?

- is there a native tool for Linux users to do a firmware update? Can the lpcprog tool from this package be used?
https://packages.qa.debian.org/l/lpctools.html

- can the Windows tool be used under Wine on Linux? If anybody tried this, can you please share some step-by-step instructions for other users?

- is it possible that the Zigate plugin will be able to manage the firmware updates automatically in future?

Good. As of now there is no plan to integrate the firmware update process from the plugin side as :
- hard to handle all possible type of platform Windows, Linux and all different type of Linux distribution.

If you want there is also for Zigate specific topic a forum in english on zigate.fr/forum (you need to log in with your zigate.fr credentials you used when ordering the Zigate)
