SDM120C ModBus RTU client to read EASTRON SDM smart mini power meter registers

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to use this with a LAN/RS485 converter?

You can also put it on a ESPEasy unit with the current test branch. It has a plug-in for this unit!

I'm using 2 of them
a SDM120 and a SDM120C (C means CLAMP the first is hardwired to the phase and count it, the second uses the Clamp) on a espMini-Mega-test branch

I just believi it's...amazing!!!!
please note.. if you want to use 2 on the same bus, you NEED to change ID: then you have to deal with modbus.. my fist time wasn't easy

the modbud plugin cannot suit my needs becase:
1) I've finish the availble USB ports on the PI
2) PI is far away from the meter position
