Hue scene read-out

Post by thecosmicgate »

Is there a way to use dzVents to read out the current Hue scene in use , and store this somewhere so i can switch for a few minutes to oneother scene.
For exampe : at the moment it users the scene : deep sea, and somebody enters the kitchen and the kitchen ( Z-wave ) PIR is on and at this moment it activates the hue scene : somebody in the kitchen , and after x minutes it returns to the "deep sea"scene . And if a change this scene to oneother scene it reads this scene en started that scene after the "somebody in the kitchen" scene .

Hope this explanation helps, and somebody can help me building this dxVents script
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice

As far as i know, the Hue bridge has no memory for last used scene so that information must come from domoticz.
If you control these scenes only via domoticz devices (assuming these Hue scenes are devices in domoticz) it will be possible to create such a script.

In that case the following information is needed.
- the name or ID of your Hue hardware in domoticz
- the list of of ID's of the devices controlling the Hue kitchen scenes
- then name or ID of the PIR activating the scene changes
Debian buster, bullseye on RPI-4, Intel NUC.
