Readonly SQL database

Post by tre4bax »

My system is setup on a Linux server. I have it configured to use systemctl.

I noticed that when I click on my switches they no longer change. First click will change a light from off to on and on it comes. However you can never turn it off again because it still thinks it is off despite having just turned it on!

When I do a "systemclt status domoticz.service" I notice a lot off SQL errors. When I look this seems to be because the installation thinks the SQL is read only. This makes sense as the system would never be able to change the status. My challenge is, how do I get this back into read write? Is there a file that needs different rights or something?

Help?

And I fixed it. Looking through the files I noticed that the three domoticz.db files all were owned by root in the root group. I just chown'd them to the same as my domoticz user and restart and bob was my uncle :-)
