- I had an issue with a lot of time outs on my Aeotec multi sensor. Someone mentioned I should disable polling, so I did and now the time outs for the multi sensors are gone. However, the multi sensors seem to "hang" every now and then. When I enter a room it can take quite a while before movement is detected and the lights are switched on. Sometimes movement isn't detected at all. And through the "on time" I have configured the lights to be on for about 15 minutes. At times it remains stuck in "movement = on" whereas no one has been in a room and there was no movement for hours. Resetting the Domoticz server helps. Sometimes it also helps to enable polling and disable it again. What can be wrong here?
- The multi sensors seem very slow sometimes when registering movement. Would that be something wrong with the multi sensors? Or would perhaps a faster Domoticz server solve an issue like that? Close to these multi sensors are other Z-Wave devices that have no issues communicating with the Domoticz server
- I have a second Greenwave power strip with 6 outlets. The first powerstrip I bought one shows usage data per outlet; this "new" one doesn't show it per outlet. What can I do to trigger that for this one as well? Or are there different power strips and perhaps this one doesn't support it?
- I have some Fibaro smoke detectors. Some of them beep every now and then. The one that was beeping has a "last seen time" of the temperature sensor of 2018-06-09 01:44:55. Other smoke detectors have a more recent (today) last seen time for the temperature sensor. The temperature sensor seems the most consistent in connecting every now and then. How can I get the smoke detector that is beeping connected again? I fiddled around with the connection button a little bit and now it doesn't beep anymore, but it doesn't show as recently seen in Domoticz either. The smoke detector that seems lost is not far away from my Domoticz server. Close to it are devices that communicate perfectly well with Domoticz.
- How can I test a Fibaro smoke sensor without setting my house on fire? I know there is a self test option with the button, but I would like to know if it actually works.
Thanks in advance!
