Hi,

I need your help to make decision what AVR (An audio/video receiver) is best to buy while thinking about Domoticz support. I have 3 models:

1. Denon AVR-X2500H
2. Onkyo tx-nr686
3. Pioneer VSX-LX303

I need power status and controll, volume control, imput source control, mute, so basic for start.

About Denon:
It seems that lot of you tested it and it works but only with older models. There's a thread

great stuff.

i have an denon avr x2400h and it won't work.
can somebody tell me what commands i have to use?
when i try to check some codes with firefox i only get Error 403: Forbidden Access Forbidden.
and where i have to put the xml file exactly?
This wont work with the 2016 onwards AVR's as Denon have stopped access to the Web Control API. I have just updated to a X3400 from an X2000 so its broken for me also. No sure how to fix it.
So does any one of you tested it, know that it will work?

Aout Onkyo:
Current stable version of Domoticz provide native support for that AVR but do you think that it will work with newest model?

About Pioneer
I think that this vendor has less support, I found some threads but not about new models.

What do you think, what's the best to buy in terms of implementation.

Should work, as it's working with my X1400H. Don't forget to check your Denon's network settings though and enable all related network settings,
