Strange question , can i control one switch to an other ?

Hi, i've searched but not found it , so here's the (strange) question
Can i control one switch to activate another, for example.
I've got an automated sunscreen witch i close with an push button on my domoticz system.
I would like when this happens , this push of a button activate another (virtual) button that gives me the state of my sunscreen when i'm away.
Later i'm thinking of using this state for a script wich would say if the rain is > then 1mm and the state of my suncreen is closed , then reopen my suncreen.
Seems simple but it isn't ....

Short answer: You can control virtual switches by pushing the button (and by various other events).

To be able to give an idea on how to approach this, I have some more questions.
- is the sunscreen itself also defined in domoticz ? If so you could just read the state of the sunscreen.
- do you use the pushbutton also to open the sunscreen ?
- can the sunscreen also controlled from outside domoticz ?
- try to describe the situation and what you intend as complete as possible.
