Anybody is using this new IR-extender?
I want to know if it works fine.
It subtitutes ZXT-120, that had a problem with ZWAVE plus (it needed a workaround published in Github but not commited for unlnown reasons)
Thanks

Re: Remotec ZXT-600
I received it today. Still setting it up, but it seems to work just fine.
Using it with my Mitsubishi airco. Did not use the ir codes, but programmed it myself with my original remote, because it kept on setting fan settings wrongly.
Ordering a second one for my other unit.

Thanks, then does it work really fine with actual domoticz version?
I mean if you can set heating and cooling points, if it receives commands On/Off from domoticz and if reports its status (heating, coolin, air dry...)
I find it hard to trust that brand

Re: Remotec ZXT-600
I’ve programmed it with my original airco remote with the fan settings I want to use.
Setting fan setup with the original ir settings was difficult, but I did not try all available codes. For me it works fine now it does what I want with my own programmed ir codes.
Temperature reading was off by -3 degrees, but you can correct that in the settings, that’s fine now.
I’m now using it to report the temperature in the room and if it’s above a certain value and some other conditions apply that the air on will turn on. Or just to be able to turn my airco on everywhere I want to.
I’ve learnt the device all temperature ir settings, but was not able to learn him the off mode. Solved this by making the 17 degrees cooling setting to turning the airco off.
Not the best way, but for now it works fine by me. I will still test it further with other settings and will keep you posted.
This was also the only airco ir Receiver that i was able to find at the moment!
