Hi,
Im new to Domoticz so I appologise if this is a stuipid question.
I have a couple of Westinghouse fans, both the RF433 controllers. I can control the fans from within the RFX Manager software on my PC easily enough, but don't know and cannot figure out how to transfer that over to Domoticz.
I know the RFXtrx device is working with Domoticz as I have it working with some Energenie and Lightware devices, and with a couple of cheap chineese sensors but I cannot see how to get it to work the fans.
I have tried pressing all the buttons on the remote - nothing. The settings in the Rfxcom manager software has a specific Westinghouse option which works.
Any ideas or suggestions? It would be great if it worked.

I found an answer to my own question.
You can set them up as a RFXCom device type Lucci Fan (not Lucci DC).
To get the three digit code, you use 00 00 for the first two and there is a chart for the last digit, it is 00 if all the switches on the remote are set to off, and 0A if the switches are set to on, off, on, off, so the complete three digit set for my fans were 00 00 00 and 00 00 0A.
Test did nothing, but once added they work perfectly.
I hope this helps someone else.

See my post overhere:

It used to work for me with Lucci DC. But apparently something has changed, and now the packettype is Westinghouse. The Lucci option is not working for me anymore.

Re: Westinghouse RF433 Fan Controllers
Westinghouse could be controlled in Ext2 firmware with LucciAir or Westinghouse commands. This is possible because LucciAir was not present in Ext2 firmware.
Because LucciAir and Westinghouse are present in ProXL1 firmware you have to use a Westinghouse device in Domoticz now.

Re: Westinghouse RF433 Fan Controllers
Thanks for the explanation. I am not able to select Westinghouse in Domoticz, only the Lucci Air fan. When I look at the code in main/RFXNames.cpp I see that there is no action associated to the westinghouse fan, in contrast to the Lucci air fan.
I guess with that this is a Domoticz issue then, and I need to wait till this gets solved.
Regards,
Erwin
