domoticz connection to easy esp

hi all

im new to easy esp , i connected my nodemcu with openthermgateway to domoticz , now domoticz show me log of everry device on my boiler . now my question is how is domoticz access to the data does the easy esp send the data to it or domoticz access to the openthertherm gateway through nodemcu

thanks for replying its just i wanna create a webserver that works like domoticz , so what i understand is that the domoticz support the openthermgateway and i wanna understand it more so i can be able to configure it right , correct me if im wrong
