Hi,
I've got a Z-Wave motion detector and a KaKu ACM-1000 (light switch). I've configured blocky to turn off my kitchen light when there is no motion for 10 minutes on the Z-Wave motion detector.
The strange thing is, when I'm in the kitchen the light sometimes turns off and directly on again. It's triggered by the blocky event. I've made an if statement that checks if the PIR sensor is off (registers on and off events, off event is triggered if there is no sight for 30 seconds) and if the kitchen light is on. If so, in the do statement, it turns the kitchen light off after 600 seconds.
I'm wondering, the moment my PIR sensor goes off after 30 seconds when I'm not in the kitchen does it trigger a 10 minute count down to turn the light off after 10 minutes even if I'm going back to the kitchen and the PIR sensor notices me within those 10 minutes? If it works like this, how can I prevent this from happening? Do I need to use Lua or is blocky capable of achieving this or would I need to make a dummy PIR sensor to fake the 30 seconds to 10 minutes with another blocky event?
Thanks in advance.
