Uservariable in plugin Framework

Are there any plans to add uservariables usage to Python Framework? I can not create nor read User variables in Python Plugins like commandArray['Variable:MyVar'] usage in LUA. For persistent values to be used in the Plugin Framework, i have to write it to a .txt file within the plugin directory. @dnpwwo ?
