Support HS1SA-Z

Post by Eyedon »

Hi,

I have bought a few smoke sensors model HS1SA-Z. After including the devices (here you see the information of omnly smoke sensor nr 5)
I've got a few new devices when I add smoke sensor 5:

As far as I understand:
  • If the battery is fine >90% full the triangle if Idx 310 is green and the switch of Idx 309 is 'on'.
  • When I trigger a smoke alarm, there's no reaction at all. All other switches stay 'off'.
Anybody using these sensors and is able to help me? I want to add a feature 'sending f.e. email when the smoke sensor senses smoke'....

I believe your last sensor is the one you looking for. That's what controlling the smoke sensor's "alarm". Note: once a smoke sensor turns on (ie. it senses smoke) you have to switch it off. Just create enable the sensor and change its type to smoke sensor (at switches tab) - now it's az on/off switch, but you can edit it and change to smoke sensor. Then you'll have the option to reset the state. Note: this sensor is tend to create false alarms (micha_pr and myself experienced this as well. Mine is placed in my bathroom and it creates false alarms - don't know why, my initial idea was the haze created my hot water).
