So, here is my dilemma. I have 2 lights controlled by a dual dimmer (in single gang wall socket) and would like to add ZWave control to them. However, I cannot find a dual ZWave dimmer (unfortunately nobody seems to make them) and also have no neutral wire to the wall socket. My thinking was/is as follows:

- install a ZWave dimmer module in the ceiling connector (there is enough space)
- connect the live to switched live at wall socket (always on) and cover with blanking plate (i.e. no longer switchable)
- install a Wallmote (or similar) to retain a 'local' switch to control the lights

However, I can't seem to wrap my head around the wiring at the ceiling. I'm assuming that I treat it as a circuit with a live & neutral at the connector box (will of course confirm the colour of wiring once I remove the ceiling box) and wire as follows: Any downside (aside from obvious issue of remote controller battery being flat) or reasons not to do so?

Why not...
Connect Brown to L. Blue to N (this way the dimmer has power)
Connect OUT to the black wire(s) going to the lamps (assuming you have two seperate (ceiling) lights)
connect the two wires from your existing switch (only) to COM and S1 (or S2)
The bypass is only used for small power loads as i read it in the manual, probably not nessecary.

This way you can switch it manually and by remote the way i see it.

Wiring is 10 years old roughly.
Got it on the power connections to power the dimmer. The wires from my existing switch form the circuit, so I can't re-use (If I leave switch in place, it'll turn the nano dimmer on/off i.e. supply or cut power to the circuit). Bypass is needed as I'm using low power LED (12W total on 230V). Think I'll give it a go...

Found this (which would allow me to continue to use my switch in place, but only works with Micro Switch and NOT dimmers - specifically warns of this approach for dimmers)

Well, I think I have worked out a pretty good solution to my problem, still retain a wired switch in the wall (for one of the lights), and no neutral wiring run needed. Plan is as follows:
1. Install Nano Dimmer in wall socket for Light #1 (2-wire install)
2. Join Live-Switched Live for Light #2
3. Install 2nd Nano Dimmer in ceiling box for Light #2
4. Use a double 'Momentary' switch on the wall connected to the nano dimmer
5. Add Light #2 to the Group 4 of Nano Dimmer for Light #1
6. Configure SW1 to control Light #1, SW2 to control Light #2 by changing parameter 124 to "Other nodes" and parameter 82 to "Basic"

Tested working with a Nano Dimmer I installed. No wireless switch needed (which is a better solution for now, given the current support)
