What door sensor do you recommend? Zwave/ RFXtrx

Dear All,
Please could you make a recommendation, what door sensor with on / off sense do you recommend?
Spent many hours, still a nightmare.
Have z-wave and RFXtrxE 433 controllers.
Hope to find a good reliable product for <= £20 per sensor.
Options I have tried.
Bought a FOXX A75WA aka Aeotec DSB29 sensor.
Only the disturb/ security sensor work for me. The open close of magnet does nothing.
Waiting on delivery for Kerui D026 to test.
Your advice will be very much appreciated.

I have a few Philio PST02-C and they work great.
Have them for about 2 years now and not even had to change the batteries yet.
They are a bit more expensive but decent official Z-Wave stuff is never <20 pounds.
If you want it cheap you could have a look at the Xiaomi gateway.
The sensors are <10 pounds, but you need to invest in the gateway too.
However, my personal experience with the Xiaomi gateway is that if it works, it works well but every week or so Domoticz loses the connection with the gateway.

I can say that Kerui D026 works fine. I use RFLink, separate signals for Open and Close, which is good.

I'm using several NEO Coolcam door/window sensors for 8 month now.
https://www.gearbest.com/doorbell/pp_621117.html
They are around 20 bucks each and using Z-Wave for communication, which is way more secure than 433 Mhz sensors.
Thinking of the worst possible scenario, someone else would monitor your sensor and would know when you are at home and when not...

I'm using this one:
https://aeotec.com/hidden-z-wave-door-sensor
Bit more expensive, but nearly invisible. They work great in Domoticz

The Kerui D026 works perfect with the RFXtrx433E.
The preferred firmware is Ext2 with Lighting4 and X10 enabled. the sensor will be detected as X10 security sensor.

Some feedback I hope will help others.
You can buy and use this door sensor with Z-wave:
FOXX A75WA, Aeotec DSB29 Door/window @
£15 in maplin
{Busy testing it on a fan so it moves back and forth so state change every ten seconds. +- 1000 changes and still working fine.}
You must do the following to get this to work.
In Domoticz v3.8153 after you paired the door sensor DSB29 do:
Go to Setup, Hardware, "Click setup on your Zwave controller", Click "node management", "Control panel"
Now select the sensor, for me it is listed as "Aeotec DSB29 Door/Window Sensor (2nd Edition)"
Ensure you do:
Under configuration set "Determines which report will be sent when magnet switch is opened/ closed." = "17".
Credit: "272" also worked as per this
post
Now you can see under "Current Values",
When you remove the sensor from wall, "Alarm Level:" will change "0 / 255". This was working anyway, still works.
When the magnetic sensor is triggered (door open/close) "Sensor" will change "on/ off". You made this work, yay!

This may help others.
How to get Kerui, D026, 433Mhz working.
3 states, Closed, Open, removed/ tamper.
Kerui, D026, 433Mhz {use 23A 12V battery}
Platform, Windows and Linux.
Sofware: Domoticz v3.8153 firmware, RFXtrx433_Ext2_1022.
Controller: I use RFXtrx433E~LightWaveRF.
In Domoticz v3.8153, go to Hardware, for "RFXtrx433E" click "set mode". {Ensure you have the correct firmware!}
Enable protocol "X10".{Correction, you also need "Lighting4"} {Only enable protocols you need, some break others. Thus any issues only enable X10 and "Lighting4"}
Now go find sensor in "setup", "devices", rename and add it.

If you still need door sensors, I also recommend Neo Coolcam's door sensor. FYI, 11/11 is in next week: this Chinese holiday means discounts in every online shop (like aliexpress, gearbest, etc) - so you grab them less then 20 EUR each. I also recommend Heiman's door sensor (also z-wave+). It a simple one, but it's working with 2 AAA batteries (so it's cheaper to replace them).

I've just got a Coolcam NAS-DS01Z from GearBest - worked straight-out-of-the-box.

greenisnews thanks for the tips on getting the Aeotec DSB29 door/window sensors working.
I can see the on/off and 0/255 in the control panel and in the standalone open wave control panel. I added both the devices found in the Domoticz device list. The tamper works as expected, but the door open always shows off or if I change to a Door Contact closed.
What am I missing to get the on/off or open/closed states to work properly?
Thanks again for your help.

I find that the magnetic switches are good for detecting burglary but not so good to know if a window is still open (for when you leave the house and you want to know which windows are open). Turns out you need a fair amount of space between the magnets before it triggers and if you leave a window open just a tiny bit it won't notice this.
I just noticed that the Foxx switches are on sale for just £7.99. I wonder if these are legit as zwave licenses are usually more expensive.
