86 Wall Panel Remote Transmitter 433MHz

Post by MartiFa »

Hello,

I bought some of these cheap wall switches a couple of weeks ago, thinking that I would be able to make them work.

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/86-Wall ... 0.0.VsaPL2

Domoticz (and rfxmngr) don't seem to receive a signal most of the time when I push the button.
It only works "now and then" and it seems that it has something to do with the pulse.

Has anyone experience with these cheap wall switches?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, sorry no solution..

I'm wondering too on how to get things to work with pt2262. It works with my RFXcom and rfxcom manager. Then I can switch the switches on and off but how to implement this in domoticz.. That's what I am looking for too!

Problems with 433mhz devices are, if you have many of them, and two(or more) device signals are sent at the same time, any of them will not come through, or stronger signal comes, and weaker doesnt... They dont work in both ways, so your wall switch really does not know has its signal gone through or not, so it wont send it automatically again.

And, if you have three button switch, i highly doubt it works if you press two button same time, because of what i explained before, two signals same time.

That makes it work "sometimes".

I have several 433mhz temerature sensors, and furthest sensor gets its signal through rarely. This does not bother me, since its just a temp sensor.

Could also be due to the signal strength - possibly try moving the switch next to the rfxcom and seeing if you get 100% detection. If so, then a better aerial for the vfxcom will be in order.
