no devices connected to controller

Hello all,
I'm trying to set up some (4) zwave devices. The controller (aeon-labs gen2) is set-up properly under domoticz. The zwave switches are included on the controller, and found bij domoticz. There are two neo coolcam powerplugs, one zwave.me switch and one greenwave powerplugs. When I look at the nerwork map, Al devices are connected to id5 (greenwave) but none are connected to id1 (controller). It works kind of, loosing connection pretty often so the switches don't come on or go off again.
What can I try to get things working properly?

do you try to put Zwave devices near controller ? To eliminate low radio signal issue.
