Now can add a Spotify block.
Before you can use it, create an app on the spotify website:
https://developer.spotify.com/my-applic ... ons/create
Title: Dashticz
Description: whatever
On the next page, copy "Client ID" to your CONFIG.js like:
Code: Select all
config['spot_clientid'] = '1112f16564cf4f4dsd4cbe8b52c58a44';
At the same page, enter your dashticz-url in the Redirect URIs field, for example:'
http://192.168.1.3:8080/
DONT FORGET TO PUSH THE SAVE BUTTON!!
In CONFIG.js, add the block like:
Code: Select all
columns[2] = {}
columns[2]['blocks'] = ['spotify']
columns[2]['width'] = 5;
Currently you can only change playlist, but more functions are coming!

Well, I just tested it.
I tried to call the dashboard by localhost and 192.168.1.119 and both worked when entering the address to the spotify app page:
First time it didnt work till I found out I forgot to press the save button
AND make sure you enter the Client ID in CONFIG.JS, and NOT (!) the Client Secret

INVALID_CLIENT: Invalid redirect URL
I have the same problem. Try this. Select the redirect url with your mouse (example:
http://192.168.178.29/keuken/) Then click with your right mouse key on it and choose option "open link in new tab'. Now spotify ask you if you give permission to open this link. Click OK button. Solved !
