Domoticz stoppes working after a few hours

Post by gennapium »

Hi,

After yesterdays update to the latest beta version, domoticz suddenly stops working after a few hours. Only a reboot solves the problem temporarely.
I use Ubuntu 16.04.

What is the problem here ?

How can i revert to an earlier beta version ?

Is there something in the logfile?
Revert? From your backup...

I also am experiencing as if domoticz stops after a while ( since two days)
the log file is "normal" but lights are not switched. because of the reboot I did not see what is in my zwave log. But I will tonight ;-)
a restart of domoticz does not work a reboot, of the pi does.

I happens with me when I start a script with a lot of actions ( my going to bed script)

Hi,

I experiance the same as qwerk. A restart of the service does not solve the problem. Only a reboot solves teh problem The log lookes fine to me.
I am not at home at the moment, tonight i will try do use a "old" version from a backup.
When trying to restart the service, the service is asking for the user password. I never had this in a older version.

I take that back.
after running 44 hours, it is getting real slow. especially z-wave.
I thought I noticed a few slow responds the past two days, but the next action was normal, so I didn't blame the domotica.

But now again after a trigger it takes over two minutes for the z-wave devices to respond.

Running domoticz 3.7602 , on a raspberry B

I switched to dzvents for my scripts a few weeks back, and was very pleased with the new overall performance.
I will give more info when I have it.

a PIR detected movement at 15:48:19
according to dzvents lua logging it activated two lights the same second.
razberry got the assigment 20 and 30 seconds later.
I was at the bathroom and indeed there was a huge delay.

edit: did exact the same thing, twice, had nothing changed in domoticz, scripting, no restarting or rebooting, and now it all worked instantly.

I have Ubuntu 16.04 and experience the same problem, only a reboot made it work again.

Can't find anything special in the logs.
