No, RFplayer is not even close to all the things that RFLink can do.. besides that, it is expensive as well

The RFPlayer is not only a 433Mhz but also a 868Mhz Gateway therefore offering support of 868Mhz protocols such as Visonic (Alarm System) and X2D (Delta Dore). Among protocols supported you get the RTS (Somfy), X2D, Visonic, Oregon, Chacon, DiO, AC, ARC, Oregon Scientific, X10, OWL, KD101, Otio, Blyss, CoCo,..

The RFPlayer is also offering additional functions such as :
- 433 & 868Mhz Repeater
- 433 & 868Mh Parrot (Learn & Play) -
- 433 & 868Mh Transcoder


The RFPlayer was launched in March 2017 and we are working on new features to be added soon to the product.

Hi Everyone,

Anyone was able to run RFPlayer on domoticz. I tried the default plugin and the one in https://github.com/sasu-drooz/Domoticz-Rfplayer

I set up everything as suggested. but still not able to add my projector screen and somfy motor in domoticz.

I tried all the ways:
1- configure the projector screen and the somfy motor in the rfplayer configurations app and save it to A1, A2, A3 and A4. I can control it fine from the rfplayer configuration app but can not add that to domoticz.

2- learning process. can not find anything.

3- manual add, can not find the rfplayer hardware.

Anyone was able to make it work?

Hi,
I know this topic is very old but I'm implementing missing features of RFPlayer natively (not a plugin) in domoticz. Currently, the implementation is able to control RTS store et get data from many sensors (oregon, RTS/X10/AC/ARC remotes,...). Others protocols effectors (ARC/AC//BLYSS...) are implemented too but may not work. The implementation handle jamming detection too. Implementation is still in progress but if people are motivated to test this... Those features are available in the beta channel.
