During my surfing on the internet for Xiaomi hardware I found a few examples how you can use the Xiaomi Doorswitch for some other purposes also.
I thought that it might be a good idea to share this information with you. Probably it inspires you too. Or probably you have found some other hacks also.

All this inspirited me to extend my existing doorbell and link it to domoticz with the door switch so I can switch based on the information a few other things (Dogs barking when I'm not home for instance, switch on the hall light when it is dark and I move to the hall already) etc
Some of you will find more examples and will have other inspirations I'm sure. So lets share
