One time event

What do you think about functionality that provide ability to set future one time events?

Example:
Usually we open entry gate at 7:30 when going to work, and close it 15 minutes later. This is easy to implement - timers. But there is another situation. We know that our family will visit us at aprox 13:00 at sunday, but it happens rarely so we want to set one time opening gate at specific time. Do you find this useful? Maybe there is some way to do this?

Don't which version your are running.
But i think it's already there, i'm on the beta version so can't check if the stable version has it.
But under the timers you do have a option set a fixed time so you can set a command once in the future.

one time events are already settable in device timer as type FIXED DATE/TIME
