Timeout Notification with Philio Pan04 - Help wanted

Hello everybody

I have installed two "Philio Technology Corporation PAN04-1 Double Relay Switch 2x1.5kW with Power Measurement", with 1 controller Aeotec DSA02203 Z-Stick S2 and another switch = Aeotec DSC18103 Micro Smart Switch (2nd Edition).

For the two PanO4-01 switch, I received many times per hour this kind of message "OpenZWave: Received timeout notification from HomeID: 25483669, NodeID: 6 (0x06)". However, most of the time, DZ works.

Two switches are in the same room, both less than 4m from the USB stick which is connected to a Synology DS212 with a 1m cable.

I've checked the network. (There is also a repeter in the room).

I've also checked the philio.xml file description. it seems ok.

And sometimes, there are so many "timeout notification" messages, that the all z-wave network hang up and the other z-wave switch sends also "timeout notification" message. Then I have to issue a "soft reset of the controler". and it heals the network for a few days.

I don't know, what to do and what to check.
Do you have any advice ?

I've also read a note in a forum explaining that philio switch are not so good hardware. What do you think of that ?

Thanks in advance for your help/advice.

Philio is not a good quality device, it is my experience. I had the same issue, lot of timeouts (until devices dead). If you can, try to return this device to the commerce where you bought them.
Good luck,

The big difference for me was going from S2 stick to Gen 5 stick.

In my case controller (1) is added to group 2 and 3 also.
You could give it a try.
Also ..think in the line of sight of your switch towards the controller.
Any metal shielding in that line? The PAN04 build-in under a metal shield ?
My 3 PAN04's are working great.
